Indian currant, 
  1. Plant Biologya shrub, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, of the honeysuckle family, found from South Dakota and Texas to the eastern coast of the U.S., having hairy leaves, inconspicuous white flowers, and reddish-purple fruit. Also called coralberry.
